"Very good communication with owners to make sure we were greeted on arrival. Complimentary basics provided and much appreciated! The place itself was modern, well decorated, clean and well equipped throughout. Even evening/rainy day entertainment in the form of DVD's, videos and a wii. A lovely place to stay, central for exploring the area."

"My boyfriend and I arrived at Waves late on a Friday on a weekend respite from London in February..and were warmly greeted by our lovely host Emma, and shown around and made to feel at home. We felt instantly settled and that we had all we needed to get us through the weekend (it is equipped with every utensil, appliance, local info, game, movie that you could ever need, come rain or shine!). We had a restful, comfortable sleep throughout. Having been to Devon before, I was aware of how lovely it is..but was completely taken aback with the view that awaited us from the sea facing windows of Waves in the morning. It was stunning. We were about a five minute walk to the sea..and had a charming old church and cemetery to stroll through directly behind the property. We were thoroughly impressed with the location..amenities and idyllic location of Waves..and will most certainly be back. Top marks!"
"This is the third time we've stayed at a Coastal Retreat property with Emma always so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and the apartment is totally luxurious. Fab location in quiet Stoke Fleming, close to the wonderful Blackpool Sands beach - you have to pay to park (£4) but totally worth it!! The Green Dragon is also worth a visit with great beer and a small play area for the kids. Sharpham Vinyard a must for walkers and wine lovers - although we didn't stay for lunch the food looked wonderful. Dartmouth of course very close with good crabbing, pasties and shops. A good time was had by all - see you again next year!!"
