Location

Waves is located in the popular coastal village of Stoke Fleming, a traditional village overlooking stunning Start Bay. There is a popular village pub, the Green Dragon and a bistro style restaurant, Radius 7, which also does takeaway food. The village shop & post office has fresh organic bread daily, & locally supplied vegetables, meat & dairy, and there is a large village park with fantastic childrens play area. The Southwest coastpath runs right through the centre of the village, and the popular blue flag Blackpool Sands beach is less than a mile down the hill. The historic port of Dartmouth is a short 2 mile drive away, or a beautiful 45 minute walk along the Southwest coastpath. Dartmouth is a picturesque deepwater port at the mouth of the River Dart, and is world renowned for its sailing. The ancient, narrow streets house some excellent boutique shops, art galleries & delicatessens. The newly renovated cobbled market place features stalls and regular farmers markets supplying local produce all used by Dartmouth's many gourmet restaurants, pubs & cafes. Dartmouth is a beautiful, popular town, with a huge number of events and festivals throughout the year.
